a)
Eat natural stuff.
The
first commandment of health is to stay sane not
sleeping too much and to stay healthy not eating too
much. When one eats the first commandment is to eat
regularly, little and diverse to get all you need.
Nature will provide all you need provided this rule is
respected. Exactly knowing what one needs one doesn't
have to eat that much. Purely chemical only very
little is needed forgetting that the intestines need
bulk to keep working. The dictate of natural food
comes from the mature option: we should not depend on
cultural fixation but on the vitality of mother
nature. It is a kind of first religion: mommy is all
and everything and that should be so for ever
exchanging the biological mother for the one of
greater nature. The effort for chemical replacement
and manipulation can be considered as a bad quality:
man has the tendency to be envious and copy and thus
tries to imitate mother nature not always because it
is needed, but just to prove himself, for the looks
e.g., equally capable. Thus the mature option can
sometimes lead to as well harmony as opposition:
maturity is also defined by its process of becoming;
its evolution.
Of
course is dependency a broad concept when it comes to
food. One can depend on other people, animals or
plantlife for sustenance. The children won't mind
depending on people, the mature won't mind depending
on the animals while the selfrealized will not mind
depending on plantlife. Just as a child has to mature
not to depend on people, the mature in fact has to
learn not to depend on the animal. In fact the greater
part of human religion is about the dependency on
animals: it is a constant preaching for the sake of
the human values which are forgotten going for the
animals. The pure vegetarian might be mature and not
infested with animal motives, but still has to
exercise to move from his place and not grow attached
to the peace and inertia of the nature of plants. It
can be a mystique to unify with the consciousness of
plants spiritually. It is certainly a form of
spiritual therapy for restless hunting and gathering
meateaters. But once having found that green anchor it
must be actively remembered that one has to overcome
that temptation of inertia. Properly fed wholesome the
vegetarian is no weaker than the meateater and will
possibly even live longer not wasting his energies on
unnecessarily destructive lifestyles. As depending on
the artificial and chemical can e.g. make the human
being too fast not being integrated with the greater
of nature, the dependency on plants only can make too
slow being overly integrated with the vegetable
motive. One is what one eats, they say. Nor being
artificial, nor being inert belongs to the definition
of a balanced sane and healthy person. Defining
unhappiness and its shadow of disease by the
artificial, animalistic and passive mode, the secret
of eating proper is to remember that happiness means
to be real, human and active.
b) Avoid indigestion and toxic
effects.
Eating
at regular times makes it possible to control the
amount of food taken. If e.g. six times a day a
certain type of food is taken at a certain
time,
it is possible to cut the food otherwise taken
spontaneous to fulfill the need. The need for sweets
can be satisfied by taking a cookie or other small
sweet at the morning and afternoonbreak. The need for
snacks can be settled in the evening watching
television. The need for protein, fat and vitamins can
be regulated by means of a considerate diet settling
the amount and type of food that must be taken to
satisfy the needs. If something is lacking in the diet
one will develop rebellion and start eating at
irregular times according to the lust. Not only the
appetite will be spoilt that way but the total control
will be lost over the food intake thus running into
indigestion, intoxication and other eatingdisorders.
Overeating is best treated by regulating the times of
foodintake. Once those times are accepted the amount
can be controlled.
Regulation
is in fact an agreement of fasting which is the basis
of all good health. During the night or for another
set period of time
one may be fasting. Breaking this rule by plundering
the refrigerator forgetting the agreement of
discipline will result in disorder. Food is a reward
for the body and to the spirit
the body simply has to earn that reward. This will
keep the body alert and motivated like any dog trained
to get a cookie. People who can't sleep at night might
e.g. turn out to be night-eaters having their bodies
rewarded for waking up during the period of resting.
No sleeping-pills will cure them unless they regulate
their foodintake. People who have difficulty finding
work during the day may also develop eating disorders
taking the satisfaction of the reward for the work for
the satisfaction of the work itself. The
eating-disorder can be a symptom of psychological
disturbance. Treating the symptom will result in
another expression of that psychological conflict.
While there is no guarantee that that expression of
conflict would be less destructive than the
eatingdisorder itself, it is always important to break
a bad habit once the psychological basis is
known..
Another
point to remember is that fasting may concern only a
certain type of food for a certain period of
time.
Naturally human culture has developed by means of
religious regulation periods of fasting at the end of
the winter simply to deal civilized with a shrinking
supply of food. By strength of the conditioning to
time
this rooted as a proper health strategy of alerting
the body (and religious spirit)
by deprivation although no real foodshortages are
there anymore at the end of the winter. Not to eat
meat at fridays and not to eat vegetable protein at
the eleventh day after full and new moon are other
examples of fastingstrategies that are more known for
their conditioning than for their original purpose of
alerting the body. One may fast not for the sake of
the body, but for the sake of the spirit
of Time
being an expression of God
and the soul.
No meat on fridays is a support for the
julian-gregorian roman calender while the
beans-cereal-fast is a meditation
on the regularity of the moon. These fasts may be
forgotten once the order of time
is understood and settled. Properly setting the
time
and the diet makes a further regulation of fast
superfluous.
As
for toxic substances especially grilled and roasted
meat and alcohol are associated with the incidence of
cancer in the throat and digestive tract. Generally
the digestion of (red) meat burdens the intestines
more with toxic byproducts which eventually also can
lead to cancer. Researchers advice to this is to eat
more fresh fruit, vegetables and fiber generally and
consider vegetarian dishes more.
c) Do your daily exercises.
The
regular stretching and bending exercises to integrate
body and spirit
can monitor the actual situation of timeconditioning
one is in. It provides for a control to make sure
which conditionings result in what stiffness or break
of continence. This way the private person is a
scientist of his own lifestyle experimenting with the
best possible adaptation to time
and circumstances. During winter e.g. things might
work out differently than to the time
of summer. Also conditioning to activities in the
weekend might work completely different from schemes
that plan the same activities during normal weekdays.
There is also a collective consciousness that favors
certain abstaining or acting at certain times to which
one might adapt or alternate. This way celebrating
religious during the week can also refresh one's
belief while at the other hand working on saturdays
and sundays
can also vitalize society. Simply for the sake of the
body and the psychology of consciousness it is
conducive to break the dead of stiff schemes of
conditioning vitalizing to alternatives.
Whatever
the way one likes to live, the exercise of the body
for the sake of exercise is important and not to be
neglected considering health. Lost in the games of
life one easily has the mind
slipping. To have exercises as a daily habit give the
consciousness and control that is not depending on the
type of life one is leading. To each game of opposites
it is important to have the position of the impartial
judge having an exercise of discipline of his own.
Thus one can align to the soul
remembering the basic values (pict.)
not going for the results of exercise. It factually
only stabilizes once the discipline is light enough to
perform at all ages: then it can stand the test of
time.
d) Give up if you lose
control.
Managing
one's independence and body sooner or later the limits
will be reached and control will be lost. The better
one cooperates and gets monitored by others the better
the controls will work. Timely one will be warned
entering the danger-zone with two people knowing more
than one. Still group-forming is no guarantee against
the loss of control. The rule of quitting a game
running bad must be remembered here. Thereto one must
not be attached to the result of the bodywork. The
rules of the good sport must be remembered not to get
lost in the destructivity of a physical conflict.
International war e.g. is an example of losing control
in political management. The only answer to warfare is
to give up. Considering what must be given up during
war one may wonder about the nature of the original
conflict. Did we eat too much now we evidently have to
give that up? Did we fear confrontation too much now
that we can't escape from it. Did we deny sexual love
too much now the soldiers are raping to their desire?
Did we forget to ask the proper questions now people
are tortured for their commitments? Did we forget the
sweet Lord too much now we are seeking refuge in
prayer? War shows where the controls in fact lie: in
togetherness, foodintake, sexual love, discourse and
worship. Thus the regulation of gathering, foodintake,
sexual love, human discourse and worship are of prime
importance to keep control and survive in times of
crisis. This leads to the values of regulation:
socialization, moderation, sexual abstinence,
listening and respect. Moderation is settled by social
security, sexual abstinence by means of marriage (not
just the spiritual marriage), listening by means of
the media and worship by means of clockwork.
Socialization is left to the freedom of association as
no philosopher can tell what individual preference and
need would be needed. One can say to that only that
some kind of settlement for social control is needed.
As proposed the government could settle for a
(non-political) socialization subsidy for people
confessed to an agreement of social order. In
conclusion the best way to keep control is to watch
television and socialize regularly, being married
living for the maintenance of the basis of social
security and settling one's days to a proper
timescheme (pict.).
e) Restart if you feel
confident.
During
war and disease everything breaks down: human
discourse, socialization, marriage, social security
and scheduling can all have failed. This is an
enormous break in confidence. Everything was based on
the peace and continence of listening to one another,
being together, espoused, socially secured in a
pleasant daily order. To restart is inevitable after
failure. Life must be lived whatever the failure.
Still there will be due consideration as to what the
cause of failure would have been. May be too much sex
despite the marriage? May be too afraid of going out
being with strangers? Maybe too much prejudice against
alternative lifestyles and opinions? May be too
disrespectful about social security? Maybe the wrong
type of time
was cherished? Each failure stresses to find a proper
answer to these questions. Only with a certain
conclusion of repentance one can restart and try
again. Fighting this is the same as fighting against
experience and evolution. Man is an evolutionary
success because it grew a brain and it will keep being
successful not denying to use that capacity for
adaptation. Confidence will come from the mindful
realigning to the order of the true self remembering
that being forgetful and repressive equals having lost
(view of) that divinity (pict.).
f) Make the body obey.
The
body is a material construct in the harmony of the
conditionings of time.
It is 'made by God'
as the religion declares. The motive is essentially
for harmony as harmony is the experience of pleasance
and vitality. Psychoanalytically called the
lustprinciple, the love for harmony tries to escape
from pain, confrontation and the problems of life. The
body as a fix of matter
always experiences stress under the influence of
conditions to a scheme of time.
These conditionings are dynamic. No stable pattern can
be. No one will visit church every sunday
without, sooner or later missing a sunday, being too
sick to attend. Illness can be recognized as a problem
of conditioning. Fixed to a pattern of behavior
missing vitality one stifles to a disease being
exhausted a certain way, vulnerable to germs, toxins,
stress etc. The therapy always is he same: the disease
makes it impossible to continue with the diseasing
pattern of behavior, one has to decondition and find
other ways of continuing life. Deconditioning is the
basis of all cures. It restores resistance and
vitality by inducement to another way of life.
Meateaters cannot eat a bit anymore, sportsmen cannot
sport anymore and overly stressed employers cannot
continue their job. This is the language of the body:
it has its own authority and power to direct the
person. Still the body must be under control. It
cannot be accepted that the body will be completely
determined by its impulses. There must be a program of
action, conscientious selfcontrol reminiscent of the
reality
of the soul.
Psychoanalytically this is called the reality
principle to which regular psychologists talk about
contracts, agreements and schemes of action. The art
of managing the body is to have such an agreement that
the person is not compulsory, stifled and diseased to
a fix but is in dynamic control to a certain idea of
order. Like with a good computerprogram all kinds of
adaptation to the time,
circumstances and person must be possible without
wrecking the essence of the agreement or program. This
means one has to compromise between the motives of
lust and the commands of material reality,
between the individual and social, between the
economic and idealistic motive. One has to balance
between the pain of the realityprinciple and madness
of the lustprinciple. One has to balance between power
and surrender, between one's nature and one's culture.
The proper balance defines the health of a free
association of control and body which is the purpose
and method of the regulation by the book of rules
(pict).
g) Listen to the body.
The
body is also a sensitive instrument like a
controlpanel in a spaceship. All kinds of alarm can be
given to indicate disturbance. The type of alarm,
being false or not, is built in the program of
behavior. A person must by the law of consonance
believe in his program however outdated it may be.
This defines his selfesteem and ego-boundaries.
A person has an integrative shield warding of impulses
and even warningsignals to another program. This way
greater society regularly has to pay for its
immaturity of management by means of a sudden outbreak
of war. Within a few months the whole world can be in
misery because of a serious armed conflict threatening
all kinds of socioeconomic balances and cultural
integrities. Like a psychiatric patient without
medicine or behavioral program the world can at any
moment run into the chaos of a collective
psychosis
or chronic derangement of a schizophrenic
civil conflict. Individual people can (temporarily) be
artificially fixed in the straitjacket of psychiatric
medicine. The greater society cannot be managed that
way though. For societies only behavioral programs of
education, management and politics can be effective in
the battle against the delusions of the 'not-this'
realizations of material involvement. In this the
electronic 'straitjacket' of television is an
important medium. In principle all matter,
and therefore also the material body, induces to
anxiety knowing that nothing material will last. As
soon as a person must identify with his body, having
to perform in public e.g., great fear arises to drive
the person towards an optimum of taskperformance.
People in showbusiness must be adrenaline addicts some
way or another to be able to continue, eventually
suffering serious depressions after performing or
being unable to continue a program. The normal person
will recognize the arousal of the adrenaline-alert as
healthy up to a certain point beyond which there will
be refusal of action. As soon as the person feels too
much fixed on his own body or anything else fixed in
matter
be it books or other consumer goods e.g., he will
reject it to give priority to the human interest of
free association preferably in the private sphere.
Being too much fixed in the private sphere one goes
public by hobby, religion or otherwise assembling.
Also animals form an important escape from being fixed
on one's own body or other matter.
The living bodies of other people and beings are the
ideal escape from the selfconfrontation in the
spirit
(pict.).
To
have proper control over the body it needs careful
attendance as it will warn against programfailures and
disturbances. Listening to the body one must also
learn to listen to the spirit
which will reflect also as a controlpanel when certain
bugs, viruses or otherwise negativities are wrecking
the program. Schizophrenics
might be people talking to themselves realizing they
have lost and given up control. Normal people may also
talk and listen to themselves keeping their sanity
working out their problems with other people in the
imagination thus regaining the control that turned out
to be ruined upon introspection. Turning the
mind
inwards is a need. To realize that everybody
temporarily has a schizoid
lack of control over the spirit
is essential to be motivated to work over consciously
the programs of action and correct them to the changes
of time.
This is maturity. To the young it is important to
teach them that to talk things over as well as with
oneself as with others is important. One may present
it with prayers or common proverbial wisdom to teach
them to concentrate and endure for the sake of a good
spirit.
Running from that reality
is a common basis not only of Individual disease,
mental and physical, but also of collective
sociopathic derangement. Young people and
inexperienced people who later in mature life have to
catch up with the commands of maturity, under guidance
learn to internalize from the mature model and thus
learn to listen not only to their own bodies and minds
but also to other people in general. Proper
identification with paternal control is the basis of
all good health and sanity.
h) Give the body time
to restore itself.
Sooner
or later anyone working a material life of obligations
and pleasures must step back and introspect. Given
proper identification in the religious, scientific and
political sphere, the person will successfully
overcome the temporary schizophrenia.
It must be learned that in order to meditate
successfully a certain program must be followed:
certain physical exercises have to be performed to
keep the body under the control of a stable
conditioning to time
so that the revolting spirit
deranged by material attraction can calm down, has no
direct expression and learns to serve the
meditationprogram and God
of time
built into it. It must also be understood that that
can only successfully be done with the aid of maxims
of meditation
like the eastern 'put the pearl of the
mind
in the lotus of the heart' or 'all honor unto Him who
has taken the form of Time,
being the restingplace of all the worlds, the subduer
of all beings and the supreme divinity upon whom I
meditate' stressing the importance of heartfulness and
modesty. Next to common prayer to the father in heaven
and the holy mother other essentials of truth can help
the mind
reorganizing itself to find, peace, goodness and
association working out the social problems in the
spirit.
Also important is to have learned not to use the
internal, spiritual as an escape from social
reality.
In fact only after working proper it is good to relax.
With a bad conscience it is difficult to meditate.
Meditation
is a higher stage of personal evolution putting high
demands on the individual responsibility. To each
temple and church there is a ritual of approach to
ward of the demoniac. Likewise also selfconfrontation
is in need of a certain strategy of approach and a
limit of time.
E.g. to meditate longer than one hour, physical
exercise or not, can give rise to serious psychiatric
trouble missing the necessary reality
testing. Experimentally it has been proven that
anybody can hallucinate under the conditions of
sensory deprivation and social isolation. It is
punishment used for prisoners and psychopaths and to
experience that as a positive liberation one must grow
to be a stern hermit. Mortified to austerities the
ascetic may realize a lot about God
and his own soul
but without proper preparation under the guidance of a
spiritual leader one will certainly be a failure of
selfcontrol. In order to be alone one must be very
social as the whole world must be internalized. Still
only aloneness will give the body and the managing
spirit
all freedom to develop and maintain the honor, health
and sanity of the mature option. As one half of the
bodily affliction may result from disharmonious
conditioning, the other half may have resulted from
the dependencies in the immature state. Ultimately
everybody will agree that nobody is completely free
from misery and that there is only an opportunity to
restore body and spirit,
while there is never a real opportunity to escape.
Even death offers no guarantee of not continuing in
the here-after. Usually one attains to where one wants
to be while being not is difficult to imagine. One may
lose the body but not the trace left
behind.
i) Try natural healing as much as
possible.
Nature
is the great healer as mother nature gave birth to us
all. Also culture can be regarded as a special form of
nature with healing properties. A lot of people sick
would be perfectly healed going out and socialize in a
pub so now and then. Eating natural stuff, preferring
real people before artificial or virtual
representations in the media, smelling a real flower
instead of smelling from a spray can etc. can make the
difference between a sick and healthy person. In the
circuit of holistic healing it even does not really
matter what kind of peculiar program one follows as
long as the people can cure by simply escaping from
the stress and lovelessness of artificial and dead
routines. Being together that way it is much easier to
forget about timeschedules as being alone. Also having
a garden e.g. it can be much easier to be in touch
with nature as having a balcony in an
apartmentbuilding far away from a park. With that the
big city can be a serious hindrance in selfrealization
never permitting to relax more than strictly needed
with all noise, mind
and nearness of other ways of living. To find nature
and the real of life back can even be a serious
economic problem as culture perfectly knows to exploit
any little bit of natural liberation. The art of
healing natural seems to lie in being the perfect
cultural escapist. One escapes from the artificial in
a religion of free association remembering oneself as
a harmony of time
conditionings and reconditionings. The enemies of
natural healing are repression and escapism: never the
way back to the workload one has to deal with must be
blocked, nor must the thereto opposing duty and
likewise cultures be repressed to have a respectful
and righteous retrieval of wholeness. As long as fear
does not have the lead and no one is victimized,
scapegoated or painted black, love and peace are no
weakness, heresy or perversion. Who is afraid of
mother nature when the revolution is called
green?
j) On depression, relax and
enjoy.
Depression
can follow nutritional deficiency, missing vitamin C
for instance or can follow the workaholic breakdown
missing the people and oneself one escaped from. Also
depression can follow sleeping too much. Depression
can be a complex of conditionings to which a new style
of life must be learned once dropping out of the
'not-this'-way of life. Instead of deriving honor from
dealing with misery one might have to derive honor
from dealing with the proper. Although human goodness
and compassion dictate to care for the fallen and
needy, the uncultivated and criminal, still the honor
cannot be derived from being superior or holier than
thou. It is both ways, the workload that may be
cleaning the toilet or whatever menial lower job,
while the other way joining the uplifting celebrations
of the subliminal culture support the true
ego
of identifying with the order of the divine
(pict.).
As said it is important how things are done not
necessarily what things. After the workload has been
taken the other life must liberate and align all to
the same freedom of association (pict.).
Stressing the formal of classidentifications as being
relevant for the workload one can celebrate the
perfect order, honor and identity
of each form of commitment in the liberation of the
statusorientation-culture that can reward and
reinforce all equally for the sake of celebrating
being there only. It is not good to deny
classdifferences out of fear for jealousy or false
ego
meanwhile covertly still maintaining the gap in
culture. Why is it bad to recognize people going to a
concert or movie e.g. as being of all classes? Why
would a certain class be dishonorable? Isn't the
freedom of orientation to class decisive for its
righteousness? Isn't it the ideal that all are equally
appreciated for their own way of attaining to respect
and commitment (see also the colorcode)
?
A
government taking these arguments serious could
consider the hindrances of economic capacity as
overcome by granting subsidies for people in respect
of the order irrespective their line of material work
(as long as they are not ashamed of it). Subsidies are
reinforcements. A government thus should know to what
line of behavioral science they are committed to be
effective in building a society and order that would
satisfy all. Injustice in this can be found in
ignorance and negative thinking of e.g. leaders who
are caught in the clutches of the 'not-this'
mind
of material entanglement. This way even the cultural
identitycrisis and depressions of the lost ideals of
the twentiest century can be overcome by relaxation
and enjoyment. As all know : to cure from trauma is a
psychological treat. Psychology bad, psychology good,
once it's done, it's understood.
k) On mania, check your
motives.
Bio-psychiatry
proposes physical deficiency as the cause of mental
derangement. E.g. with manic-depressieven clear
deviances can be noticed in the chemical balance of
the brain-substances (neurotransmitters). Still the
regular scientist will say that all causal explanation
depends on the paradigm, the theory that explains for
a practice. Thus the bio-psychiatrist can be true, can
as well be erring or can cherish only a half-truth
that is practical to his medical commitment of
devising medicine as a therapy. Postmodern approaches
will stress the importance of interdisciplinary
teamwork in the treatment of manic deviances and other
psychiatry. It is not simple psychology as it
transgresses the boundaries of the sane and safe.
Still the psychological cause, the psychological
departure from sanity and selfresponsibility is
important. Sometimes the only way out of the trouble
is to defend the idea that the manic is a special case
of sanity and can only come to an end when the person
realizes his goal selfresponsibly. It is like being in
court: the psychiatrist is the prosecutor accusing the
subject of being a patient endangering others and
himself. The psychologist leads the defense that must
prove that the special type of behavior is within
normal limits and even of importance to others and
himself. The problem lies within the power of
judgment: who is to decide as a judge; or american:
where is the jury that will decide about guilt and
innocence? In fact a formal order in defense of the
interest of the soul
is needed. From this order it may be clear what is
untruth and betrayal, egoism and possessiveness. From
this order can be understood why there is deviation
and how it can be forgiven. Mania for instance in the
theater is condoned while in private such a show
cannot be tolerated. Decisive is loyalty to a script
as the script defines the limits. The same way normal
manic bouts in a human life can be condoned when there
is a guarantee of loyalty to an order fixed by
prescription. For instance soldiers in
time
of war can be completely manic for the sake of a
victory until they disobey their superiors. Only then
they suddenly are potential criminals eventually to be
executed on the spot. In conclusion it is important
that finding oneself in a state of exhilaration,
elation, bubbling over with inspiration, being
energetic and directive etc., in such cases one must
always ascertain the motives of action that must be
unequivocally clear and fixed by agreement. Otherwise
with the latter, social control will be lost and will
one be forced to resort to less favorable means of
control overruling the mature option of the deviant.
From this follows the importance of an explicit
concept of formal social order that will set the
limits of control. Sooner or later each person must
experience when 'the will of God'
or the reality
of social control in service of the soul
will override the claim of independence and maturity.
A lack of formal order will result in an excess of
deviance: crime, madness and corruption. To hearten
justice to this equals devotion to a formal concept of
order that will formulate the motive, the line of
action and the sanctions of control. As stated
positive sanctioning is done by initiation ceremonies,
special decoration and monetary reward in the form of
payment or other benefit (privileges, attention,
freedom, etc.). Normally negative sanctioning is done
by withdrawing the positive sanction or even
punishment settled by law. All this together will
purify the personal motives and secure society against
the harm of individual mania and other
deviance.
l) On confusion check time
and circumstances.
With
all types of status
and
professional
orientation
(pict.)
a lot of confusion can be in the seemingly opposing
conflict of the different motives and action. There
will always be a need of conscious discourse in
parliament or other meetings and ways of deliberation.
However one works the importance of an agreement, to
each effort there is an agreement about
time
and circumstances. Therefore the general advice for
everyone who feels confused is to check himself to the
program of time
and circumstances he has or is heading for. Opting for
meeting in parliament will give another confusion than
meeting privately in a bedroom, opposing on a field of
sport or meeting for businesspurposes and religion.
Generally to switch from one confusion to another
gives the greatest trouble as the bedroom might not
give the mind
for business, or parliament might oppose to the
interest of religion.
Again
as with the previous rule the unifying and connecting
force is the soul
that must be secured socially by formal agreement.
With everyone properly aligned, switching and working
the confusion to a clear end will be successful. With
the reality
of compensation and repression though, not being
properly aligned to the interest of the
soul
and its evident order sooner or later there will be a
crash that destroys the adaptations and will look like
a war collectively or mental disease individually. As
yet the twentiest century has proven the
reality
of this as if it would concern the medieval black
plague wiping out the lives of millions of people. The
flea that turned out to be the cause of the trouble
concerning the plague (or our lack of resistance
against it) might for the disease of warfare be the
estrangement from the reality
of the soul
(or our inability to have a mondial agreement about
expressing its formal order). Nor religiously, nor
politically, nor scientifically the twentiest century
concept of ego
is that subservient that its falsehood and warfare
could be prevented. For this purpose not to have the
periodic madness of 'the plague', a mondial reform of
formal order in service of the interests of the
soul
is absolutely needed. Laxity in this, denying,
compensating and postponing will never lead to a
better guarantee of maintaining social order, peace
and security. Blocked in progression mankind will only
develop new diseases, madness, deviance and misery.
Another definition of disease is to see it as a
consequence of a blockade of
progress.
m) On paranoia check your expectations,
promises,
plans,
desires, aspirations, righteousness and
duties.
Caught
in a web of expectations etc. with its belonging sense
of righteousness and duty one can become terribly
paranoid. The real mature person will always have a
healthy sense of resentment and rebellion against each
imposition. It is natural instinct that will whisper
into the animal ear that culture can be a bad threat
to the personal interest of freedom and
selfrealization. Mankind can be seen as just another
anthill to which one may not aspire to be such an
obedient servant. Paranoia is the result of 'not being
yourself': one is possessed by evil spirits the shaman
will say. Or to the nineties: one goes too fast, too
hard and too cruel within a certain state of
consciousness to keep in touch with the health of the
relative. A Groupego fixed to a material motive will
develop resentment against others projecting its own
evil in suspicion. Thus the whole of society can
become schizophrenic
rejecting itself being exhausted in the psychological
battle. As seen before any system its health is
defined by its dynamics and openness or its ability to
correct itself and readapt. The human body itself is
the best proof of this reality:
it can only function under the neurological
reality
of inhibition and selfcorrection working uncertainty
for the sake of openness to others for a lifesaving
adaptation. From this the necessity of a dynamic
timeconcept and a healthy sense of alternatives in
timemanagement is derived. Modern politics manage this
truth by means of a liberal strategy in
zonetimemanagement to which there is no realagreement
in the world. And this freedom can stay so. From this
freedom the individual or any group of individuals may
develop its own consciousness of time.
This way also the possibility of a worldorder can be
conceived without repressing the existing
reality
of chaos in timemanagement. Not denying the liberty to
live in chaos one only needs the freedom to choose for
a concept of order that offers enough benefits to have
a real possibility of enduring world peace
irrespective political, religious or scientific
preferences. To the consciousness of time
there can be a dome oforder that is big enough to
cover all the major cultures and mode-marks
(pict.)of
timemanagement in the world. Thus the paranoia of
being caught in the onesidedness of a single groupego,
language, culture, mode or time
can be overcome.
n) Satisfy the bodily needs on
schedule.
As
stated before lust can become love by means of
scheduling. This is the essential alchemy to make the
gold of silence that covers all the weaknesses of man.
As also thieves work in silence it is not the priority
of silence that is advocated though. It needs
conscious talking over to have a holy spirit
dominating. A psychologist may observe, analyze,
report and advise in silence, but politics of social
management will have to take up the challenge to match
the spiritual motives of wisdom with the material
motives of the common man. The class of rulers, the
politicians and other officials of government must
compromise and agree about temporary settlements of
order that would satisfy all. Important is to realize
time
and again that no material agreement can be a fix for
ever. There is always an expansion, exception or new
principle of evolution that will change the
perspective asking for amendments or general reform.
If for instance fire-arms are common use that might no
longer be so if weapons to depolarize the nervous
system come about that will be able to stun people
with less destruction. New laws would be needed to
keep mankind from complete chaos in shifting balances
of power. If e.g biomagnetic induction would result in
a new evolutionary capacity of control over
matter
that way that fossil fuel becomes ridiculous, all
economic balances will shift so that the complete of
mankind would need another international policy of
management to survive. All scheduling to satisfy the
human need for safety, transport, housing, food, work
and entertainment is depending on the stage of
evolution society and mankind is in. Always we suffer
the psychological law of consonance that dictates our
position or attachment
to be the best. And always evolution will be a kind of
pain suffering resistance against change or
decompensation after detachment. The diseases of
blocked progress and unmeditated detachment must be
accounted for by means of liberalization against
repression and alternation against decompensation. One
may only be liberal if it does not repress or harm
others and one can only let go of something if one can
hold on to an acceptable alternative. Indiscriminately
stressing detachment and the liberal will result in
madness and disease and must be labeled as cheating
and fraud or lies, deceit, egoism and possessiveness in
political and therapeutic disguise.
To
regulate the need for private and public entertainment
for instance, one needs the clear cut alternative of
an other schedule than the normal calender and
consciousness that advocated the stress one tries to
escape from in entertainment. Without this the
entertainment will be another version of working the
system, madness and disease and lose thus all its
attraction. A certain awareness of say
weekorderconsciousness does not heal from its diseases
of fixation if one can't find liberation to an
alternative.
The
authority over this alternative may at first not be
that important: one may for instance cherish to do
one's laundry every fourth day irrespective the date
or day of the week. But with this one must consider
what one is harmonizing with, otherwise the
alternative will only lead to further confusion,
falldown and failure of adaptation. The objective is
to become more clear and not become more confused.
Thereto to walk the safe lane of settled alternatives
forms the best guarantee of a harmonizing, clarifying
effect. For instance a popmusician starting up may
begin with covering many known songs just adding here
and there a song of his own making or his style of
interpretation. From not repressing one can be
progressing to the settlement and acceptance of an
alternative. The scheme of time
proposed under tables
on this site will regularly harmonize with the
existing weekorder just to cover the complete of the
week subtly shifting in rhythm. That way with
everything one harmonizes as well as opposes so that
the mind
will not be able to form a false ego
against the normal timeconsciousness of adaptation. Of
course there are many tricks in the management of the
conditioning and deconditioning of time.
Meditating on it will certainly reveal one's personal
way and strategy to overcome attachment
and be liberated in free
association.
o) Be moderate.
Addiction
is the opposite of moderation. All the weakness
(pict.)
is not so bad as long as there is only moderate
alcohol-use, a bit of lusty sex, a small amount of
money wasted in gambling or just so now and then a
meat-dish (pict.).
Conditioning is a peculiar thing: it cannot be seen,
it is not a bug or virus, it is not a person, but
still it can ruin the complete of your life. Eating a
little bit too much today may result in the same
tendency the next day and before one realizes it one
has developed overweight. How can this happen?
Holiness is an integrity almost nobody can keep. It is
extremely difficult to control the forces involved and
once in the wrong style of life it is difficult to
realize, remember and appreciate the better way. There
is the law of consonance that preaches contentment and
selfesteem despite of a bad habit. In defense of the
bad habit it is called ego
while in defense of the ideal the conscientious self
is called soul.
The idea is that just for oneself it is
ego,
a defense of bad habits, while in remembrance of an
example being a model of virtue to others oneself, it
need not be repressed and denied as bad but can be
remembered as soul
or continuing selfawareness. Thus seen continuation
can be as well as a problem as far as an addiction is
concerned as a matter of soul
since it gives evidence of an eternal existence of
goodness and virtue. This way people can be confused
about the time-factor
or even be completely unaware of its influence. As the
good as well as the bad continue, time
wouldn't matter as much as the strategy of
alignment.
But why separate the two creating a destructive
opposition? Why would timemanagement be strange to a
discipline of alignment?
The answer is attachment.
Attached to a certain strategy of timemanagement one
may worry endless about the effectivity of a moral
code. But within the same state of consciousness or
mode of conditioning one cannot see or become aware of
the value of the alternative. It is difficult to
deprogram oneself out of a certain hypnosis.
A
good example of hypnosis within a certain frame of
conditioning is the attraction of the culture of
standardtime as experienced with television. Hardly
anyone can escape from the compulsion of the program
of managing standardtime. It is like the greek hero
captured by the cyclops: only by attachment
to the sheep he and his men could escape from the
monster. There is shame about confessing to the
addiction of watching t.v.. Hardly anyone takes pride
in the accomplishment of watching t.v., while it
certainly is a heavy burden to endure the stress and
overload of the tabloid and commercially colored
programming. Around television there is about the same
shame and taboo as around psychiatric medicine: they
are two types of straight-jacket to manage the lack of
selfcontrol. Still t.v is just another medium like
books or letters. To control the medium of television
one must be able to step out of it. Television is by
its fixed programming typically an example of
timedependent attendance. It is in fact a clock with
imagination. What is seen is representative for the
mode of time
it manages, which is standardtime: lots of sex and
violence or movies about predators and dictators
devouring innocent victims. If it shows life as it
really is, just filming a shoppingmall e.g. it is too
boring to be considered otherwise than as an
interlude. Still almost everyone is captured by it
because of its timeconditioning: there is no
alternative and thus also nothing more attractive or
stronger to deny the t.v. irrespective the program on.
The only way to get out of that addiction of shameful
tabloid lust is to find the 'sheep' or association of
a concept of time
that is more harmonious, more real and more naturally
attractive than the standardmonster or cyclops of
conditioning to the artificial. An agreement with that
concept would offer the real of life in the real of
time
with the real of attraction that can never be
overruled by the artificial. The real of
time
is pragmatically the true of time
also known as suntime and true sidereal
time.
The real of the calender can be described as the
division of the year that is not of a conflict in the
division of the day and date one is living (see
table).
These are practical definitions that are commonly
known as the natural 'feeling' of time,
indescribable and even mystical since it is a subtle
conditioningforce whispering silent inspirations as a
guardian angel against the evil of modern
time.
A conscious confession to this reality
of natural harmony can take away the mysticism,
superstition, loneliness and estrangement of that
'other' state of consciousness sought after so heavily
in drugs and sex. Especially because of the shame
about the latter it seems to be almost sacrilege to
settle anything to the divine of time.
Still to drop out and tune in is the dictum of the
spiritual revolution as propagated in the second half
of the century. The way it is done is less relevant
than the bare sociological fact that modern subculture
thinks that way. Postmodern culture in need of finding
order in the chaos of the modern ego
can learn to find honor in e.g. watching television by
considering it a type of psychological work one must
certainly decondition from to an alternative
timescheme. This way its lust changes in love for the
human effort accepting the moderation that reinforces
the real thing. Also going downtown for the real can
thus be purified and controlled.
p) Meet the conditions of
resting.
In
order to be able to take rest one must meet the
demands of resting. Just like being active, sleeping
and resting also depend on timeconditionings. The body
will develop a rhythm of its own regulating e.g. its
temperature and digestive activity according to the
style of life. A person daydreaming may find it
difficult to dream and sleep at night finding himself
to be an alternative nightwatch to the collective
interest of a peaceful night. Going against the order
of the day may result in a lusty dream in the night.
Once a certain pattern of behavior during the night or
day is fixed chronic sleeplessness can be the result
of simple timeconditioning. For instance laborers
working in shifts in factories that run day-around
full-time
may suffer serious problems of mental and physical
health being constantly urged to change their
conditionings to time.
Such a social construct can even be recognized as a
neurotic
effort to decondition from the dictature of
standardtime. Being a 24-hour workaholic collectively
is no solution to the onesidedness of standardtime.
Nor is living a counterculture of drugs and sex a real
solution. To drop out is not difficult, but to tune in
without repression is something completely different.
One may escape for instance in a sectarian belief just
to find out that one is just as jealous, proud and
deceitful as any ordinary civil servant e.g. The goal
of life may be found in the love of rest and peace but
seeking that, unfair shortcuts or unwise and diseasing
strategies must be forgotten. It will simply have to
be a sincere effort to counterbalance the existing
culture with a generally acceptable alternative that
is sound scientifically, politically and spiritually
at the same (alternative) time.
q) Guard your limits.
The
act of testing the limits is sometimes described as
psychopathic or sociopathic: it would be a condition
in which other people would be tested and burdened for
the sake of one's own desire for control and power.
Strange enough all kinds of religious, political and
scientific imposition in the form of
reseachprogramming, experimenting and reform defy this
definition in the name of God,
the good of will and the love for the truth. Organized
it is condoned and endured while egoistically
practiced in the private sphere, sexually, politically
or scientifically the relatives may try to get rid
calling for the psychiatrist. However practiced the
limits of the possible must be explored in the search
for solutions to the bewilderment of modernity.
Testing can be a sign of disease, a symptom of unrest
and proof of dissatisfaction and unease with all the
new of culture. It takes almost a lifetime of
experimenting how t.v., radio, computing, bookreading,
newspaperchecking, magazinappreciation,
cinema-attending and assorted modernity would work and
balance best. The essential problem of the mature
person is to find himself time
and again caught in conditionings, expectations and
dependencies ruining the integrity of mind
and soul
being called down as a follower inferior or traitor
demoniac. The whole of culture sometimes seems to have
become an impossible burden one can only escape from
in a monastery or other seclusion just to find out
that that is where the present timeconsciousness
sprouted and is maintained.
Experiencing
the pains of collective evolution the limits must be
guarded carefully. There is the basic interest of
having to keep one's job, wife ,kids and home in order
and still be a respectable member of society despite
of the animal motive. Not rarely it is felt as a
seriously debilitating conflict between the higher and
lower self. The eternal question who or what would be
the authority as a proper answer to that, would be a
matter of life and death. A classical answer is that
the Lord as the supersoul would figure as the control
over the soul
that controls the spirit
controlling the mind
that directs the body. Proper alignment
to this line of authority would be the solution to the
problems of duality. Psychologically must be added
that to the concept of Lordship no direct answer can
be given as to what name we would refer with the
dictum 'who would I be to tell the Lord what form to
take?'. The Lord may want to take my form also and who
am I to resist that? The mature person only knows for
sure he is to take responsibility himself whatever the
name of the Lord might be. The examples of the past
are known and the one's of the present are under
debate. Whoever the supreme personality might be,
undoubtedly He will be able to set the limits of what
is possible and wanted Himself. Finding out about them
the adult can only guard them to prevent further
unwanted testing and burdening at the one hand while
at the other he might help to settle them not being
afraid to explore and discover for the sake of
progress either.
r) Do not exhaust without
guidance.
Especially
manhood likes to exhaust and compete just for the
sport of it. This might not always be responsible
wasting not only lots of money setting priorities
wrong but also wasting complete cultures and people
forgetting their value in overrated selfinterest. One
of the best strategies in this is to attend to the
reality
of e.g. olympic alignment
as familiarity of the self. It is in your own interest
to recognize your own alignment
in the other person and culture. For this onemust stay
open and receptive evading the weaknesses of deafness,
cowardice and prejudice. To listen, dare and trust to
alternatives and other people is not an exclusive of
the young or enlightened. It is the definition of the
sane human being in general that is in fact leading
the way.
From
this realization may follow the notion that any human
being can function as the necessary control, as any
person might function as a magnifying-glass of the
divine. Also e.g criminals have a sense of justice one
can learn from certainly when it comes to guarding the
limits of exhaustion. Either in support of the system
or in support of an alternative of culture classically
righteous perfect or not, working the body up to a
limit is best done under the guidance of others. E.g.
youngsters exhausting their bodies in a sphere of
drugs and fast music may run dead in their efforts to
enjoy secretly fostering contempt against the
generation before that also explored the limits of
that activity. Inventing the wheel anew also the same
kind of accidents in e.g. drugabuse happen. This kind
of destructive alienation based on age-discrimination
or a generationconflict must be and can be overcome by
means of an order that abridges the different
generations, statuses (pict.)
and vocational identifications (pict.).
Only by means of a conscious confession to the
complete of the human potential the necessary balance
can be kept so that limits are clear, accepted and
known. In this simply clarity is love. To have
symmetry, complementarity or to be parallel of
relational functioning under guidance is of secondary
importance. To subdue, talk it over or be equal in
independence will find a natural evolution once the
order or frame of communication is
clear.
s) Fast regularly.
Fasting
is not something just of the body. Any habit needs the
contrast of abstinence to become aware of its impact
and reality.
This creates the total complexity of life: all kinds
of habits are in need of contrast and consciousness
while they all intermingle dependently. What is the
influence of meat-eating, under what conditions is sex
conducive or destructive? When do I break down or
flower? When do I run into arguing and fugue and how
does that relate to the collective affair? To what am
I contributing in which season, etc, etc. The common
lay is a chaos of speculation: nobody exactly knows,
but all do more or less understand. Many theories of
attribution explain why and how things go wrong,
subtly corrupting to their secondary gain. Some swear
by moralization as the only outcome, while others
swear by silent and steadfast work. Physicists search
for a unified field-theory that explains everything
and religions battle to be the most comprehensive.
Whatever may be the case or aspiration sooner or later
it must be given up. With that knowledge wisdom
whispers the term voluntary suffering or penance hated
by the common man and most favorably forgotten by all
but the serious candidates of holiness. Still the rule
stands as a cornerstone of progress. Without sincere
penance no real knowledge, consciousness or progress
in whatever walk of life is possible. Many people must
experience that only with shame and damage wisdom will
come. Only after a debilitating disease or rampant
failure the put is covered in which the calf drowned.
And man is a slow learner collectively. Heavily
attached to all illusions of control and enjoyment
time
and again the total (and very expensive) disaster of
warfare comes about punishing all profitmotives and
refutations of penance. War is the whip of
God
screaming in our ears that it is healthy to be hungry,
good to fight for the cause and a primal sin to betray
your fellow man.
All
this is the reality
of fasting: just by not eating meat on fridays, or not
eating cereals and beans on the eleventh day after a
new or full moon or just by abstaining from sex before
marriage, or just by refraining from drinking milk for
a month, or just saving a little money every month
etc. etc. etc., one's whole life takes a different
course. Fasting, bye and bye there are less
inscrutable conflicts, disasters running out of
control, quarrels, nervousness, generation conflicts
that cannot be overcome, divorces and diseases. Just
because of a little bit of fasting in this or that the
right sense of discrimination and consciousness could
root. It is not, as said to be holy in a day. It is
just to get an idea of what and how to work at going
for health, soul
and happiness.
t) Keep diversity of bodily
action.
Another
trick of the trade is in keeping versatility of the
body. Normally one develops like any animal in the
forest a walk of life just training this muscle or
keeping that posture. In fact an important part of
human integrity is known as a kind of cramp that
tightens the muscles in the neck or lower back as the
individual is attached to this type of 'music' or that
type of 'humanity'. Liberation
means that the whole of the physical apparatus is
subjected to the filognosy
of alignment
to the soul
that regulates the dynamics of the human motive and
the vitality of the social career. Nor cramping to
one's marriage, nor cramping to one's sport, nor
cramping to one's hobby or possessions of whatever
kind will bring salvation. Only a conscious confession
to the social and individual reality
of real progress and emancipation
will bring enlightenment. It practically simply means
that a grandpa may also check out in the discotheque
so now and then, that woman also may get together for
soccer or something masculinelike, that men may also
handle the vacuumcleaner and cook so now and then.
This down-to-earth concept of emancipation
is not a vague idealistic concept, but a sheer
physical need for diversity. Sexual variations e.g.
are not a kind of perversion between lovers afraid to
get bored, but make up a strategy of liberation where
all physical cramps are overcome by energetic
mixing.
Of
emancipation
the bodily concept is the most common and popular. The
danger is to think that that would be all there is to
emancipation:
in that it can indeed become a perversion or escapist
routine of training and straining. Anything healthy
can be abused for spiritual escapism. The half or
greater part of eastern religion is renown for that
effect: everybody does it for the integrity of the
body, but who is really working up a realistic and
effective mind
and heart for the decency and fairness of human
society? Just simply abstaining for a happy body will
not justify the societal rebellion against everything
else as being materialistic. There are no real
atheists and materialists. Carefully searching one
will not be able to find a single one. There are all
kinds of sacrificing in all walks of life and who am I
to judge about another man's sacrifice and devotion to
God?
One can be devoted on the physical level seeking
altruïstic liberation with good food and good
sex, but also devotion on the level of politics,
cultural affairs, personal relations, overt verbal
interaction, intellectual pursuit or religious
association is a legitimate and valid way of
emancipating in alignment
to the soul.
Even anyone watching a clock can be called a devotee
of God
as time
can be recognized as a form of God.
Thus not only keeping diversity of bodily action for
oneself as a standard of good health, but also
respecting other strategies of alternation and
alteration in others is a way and necessary complement
of keeping and promoting good social and mental
health. Only if the cultures of the East and West
realize this filognosy
a reasonable and realistic concept of worldorder can
dawn.
u) Award the body at the proper
time
for obeying.
To
the soul
the body is like a pet or animal of the circus that
can and must be trained, awarded and caressed for
being obedient and nice. To keep some kind of order in
one's life especially people who live on their own
accord in social security, at old age or as a student
or reorienting adult, have to award themselves for
respecting the God
of Time
by eating a cookie for taking a regular break or
having a proper meal for finishing work or getting out
of bed. Without proper reinforcement the body will be
an obstinate dictator not only losing physical health,
but also spoiling the happiness and peace of the
soul
by means of a mind
full of lust and rebellion. Sometimes a
semi-psychotic
fit of bewilderment and fear is simply remedied by
reinforcing loyalty to the order of the day. Missing
the fundamental interest of this adult strategy people
may roam for long the consultation rooms of analysts,
psychotherapists, doctors and alternative healers just
to realize they have to mind their own
time.
It is in the politics of standardtime to manage
employment in the department of healthcare by creating
and maintaining dependency on politically fixed
dualistic and opposing notions of standardtime that
run on the secondary gain of silencing the basic and
simple strategies of health. Especially the political
arena itself can illustrate the perversion of the
secondary gain, fighting complete physical battles in
parliament or having marathon meetings transgressing
all norms of human decency and selfcontrol. No lay can
match with the exuberant culture of political meeting,
feasting and conversing to their heartsdesire and lust
like a medieval bacchanal or adolescent
studentfraternity. This kind of misrepresentation of
civil culture creates the problem it is fighting
against: the estranged isolated madmen that can no
longer understand, sympathize with or incorporate the
inscrutable and uncontrollable of political tigers and
lions. Keeping this in mind
it is not difficult to understand why many people lose
control with the existent judicial-economic political
paradigm and end up intellectually repressed in
asylums and on parkbenches as tramps and
schizophrenics. Simply pointing at everybodies
individual responsibility will not free society from
the responsibility to take care of an order to which
all kinds have a fair chance of successful adaptation.
The criterion of political volubility can impossible
stand and manage as a leading principle for the common
man. To the common man no monopoly of speech can be
tolerated but a healthy understanding and discourse of
a common concept of worldorder. The political as it is
may be, but cannot afford to fail in modeling the
objective and order of political action. All this
belongs to the ramifications of the science of
reinforcing human bodies for the sake of obedience to
the indwelling soul
and its loyalties.
v) Exercise the imagination
willingly.
There
is a difference between
schizophrenia
and normal psychological health as pointed out
earlier. As known man is running from himself
habitually unless special notice is given to the
importance of taking time
for meditation
and contemplation. To the alternative
stardate
* calendar
there are only 48 weeks in the year slowing down the
tempo of life stealing from holidays 24 days for the
sake of days of study at the end of a fortnight
(table).
This way the individual may realize that independent
of religious exercise or social involvement otherwise,
there is a frequency or vibe or state of consciousness
possible in which one can find alternation to the
schemes of the roman calendar. One may call it
spiritually an aquarian sunday,
politically a starday or scientifically a fifteenth
day; whatever called, to the consciousness of
standardtime and its conditionings, to keep a healthy
postmodern sense of liberation and progress, the
withdrawal for the sake of study and contemplation
snapping out of the standardmode is psychologically an
absolute necessity. As said before it is useless to
train the mind
and imagination seeking liberation at one hand while
at the other hand refusing to let go the compulsions
of the state of consciousness one is in. Many will
find it impossible to even relax, let alone meditate,
upon the things of regular living as no conditioning
and reinforcement to another rule of time
can be conceived. This makes up the difference between
madness and health: without the conscious choice of
accepting to a contrast of time
no consciousness or control of the self that would
emancipate and progress can be. Simply taking a friday
for studying e.g. will not give that awareness or
reinforcement of the alternative that makes up the
reality
of soul,
happiness and consciousness. One may ask the
psychiatrist and he will explain that to withdraw for
study may not go without association or otherwise one
will lose concentration, integration or even
compensation. The association the psychiatrist is
referring to may be filled in by himself but important
is to remember the difference between attending to a
school of thought like psychoanalysis and the result
of graduation from that school going independent for a
common concept of maturity and social order that is
emancipating and liberating. The association of
liberation might feel bitter in the beginning as
loneliness and strangeness. But being conscientious to
the soul
finding structure to the mere conditioning of an
alternate timeconcept, one will develop the taste for
realizing the difference between health of diversity
and the madness of regression and projection fighting
the 'father' of paternal authority and the rigid of a
culture.
As
said before to the practice of exercising the
imagination to work out the problems of adaptation and
preparation for action, contemplation as such is part
of the psychological health-strategy. The psychiatric
warning predominantly concerns the realization that
one may hear voices that are out of one's control or
otherwise lose selfcontrol and start to hallucinate
missing a proper structure of bodily and spiritual
discipline that would secure one's adaptations and
loyalty to the holiness and grace of the
spirit
of the divine (pict.).
The psychiatric warning predominantly concerns the
realization that one may hear voices that are out of
one's control or otherwise lose selfcontrol and start
to hallucinate missing a proper structure of bodily
and spiritual discipline that would secure one's
adaptations and loyalty to the holiness and grace of
the spirit
of the divine. Some courage though is needed to
encounter the inner realities of initiation into the
world of the spirit.
Hearing voices and having visions is also a sign of
good spiritual health as proposed by eastern
scriptures and shaman cultures. What is of
psychological importance is that whatever the
experiment of imagination might be, that one knows the
beginning and end of it to a rule of time.
Then even a complete counterculture of only working
together one day in the (aquarian) week
meditating
the rest of the time
is possible.
w) Do not fear the spirit,
but direct it from the soul.
The
greater part of human trouble comes from escapism.
Afraid of selfconfrontation in the spirit,
the conscience is perverted to serve the material
motive. With matter
alone one is thus never really in order which will
express itself as a form of lust. From that lust a
struggle for power ensues because of which one sooner
or later will lose control. Thus the profiteer
falls down and loses his intelligence.
The 'not-this' awareness of delusion is the result of
material bewilderment. It consists of illusions
about being the enjoyer and controller while at the
same time
conscience whispers the opposite of suffering for
sacrifices and submitting for cooperation. The
spirit
as expressed by cultures of control can be daunting.
Everybody knows it so well for himself that the other
is told and judged to do the same. But fact is that
not everybody is the same nor can do the same. One
must be different while two must be the same. That is
the problem of life. The ontological question of how
to be with God,
the Lord or the order, is to answer and decide about
living in harmony (e.g. one consciousness of
time)
or whether one must accept the confrontation and live
according to winning and losing in the conflictmodel
(e.g accepting the coexistence of two types of
time).
To have peace two people need the same order or
harmony (God).
To have work one must be always aware of the
difference between the ideal of total sacrifice for
harmony and the imperfect confrontations of the
profitmotive. Nor should one fear the sacrifice nor
should one fear to be in opposition with the
imperfect. It is like working and leisure: one can't
be without the other. Without the conflict one cannot
work and without the work one cannot be motivated for
the harmony of being indifferent with the grace of
God
and nature. What is decisive is whether one knows who
one is or not. The soul
is a pool of identification with all types of manhood.
From this a certain consistency of mind
or spirit
arises. This spirit
is secured by emotions that warn whether one aligns or
not. For this one must listen to oneself regularly,
e.g. in the early morning before taking breakfast.
Premeditation of action is indispensable for achieving
the selfknowledge and consistency of spirit
to keep control. Lots of people go to church on
sunday
giving the priest the voice of conscience. But having
this as an external form of control still the
selfresponsible of a daily meditation
and a separate day (e.g. the fifteenth
or the aquarian
sunday) for
study is needed.
x) Purify by abstinence.
There
are two concepts of abstinence: having a holiday and
to do penance by voluntary suffering. Both purify in
their love for nature and the spirit.
To have a harmony of the two the abstinence must be a
frequency, a vibe or state of consciousness that can
be picked up any time
as an agent of control. For that purpose one must
compromise: holidays must suffer a little and
abstinence must enjoy a little. Holidays suffer by
spreading them out irrespective of the weather as a
separate day for joining with people, religious or
not, and the denying of keeping or confirming distance
with the media. At the same time
abstinence must learn to appreciate the fun that
people like to have joining in e.g. the cinema or
theater. For religion we have the roman saturdays and
sundays.
For abstinence there is the stardate
calendar
*
giving regular alternation and cosmic consciousness.
Both intermingle to have roman sundays and aquarian
socialisation-freedays and sundays coinciding and
diverging. This makes life more diverse and
interesting. This gives man the two legs of ontology
he can walk on.
y) In case of pain: check your
integrity.
Pain
is not simply a bodily phenomenon. Often on pain
nothing wrong can be found with the body. The body may
suffer some cramp to which no mechanical cause can be
found: it can be directed from the mind.
A conflict in the mind
can express itself in the body as a cramp or a form of
pain. Pain is an alarm warning against some threat to
the integrity of the body. For many people it is
difficult to accept that the mind
or the spirit
directing the mind,
or even the soul
directing the spirit,
must be counted among the causes of pain. A conflict
of integrity can be purely physical and as such pain
can be of a purely physical nature. But it is not
always so. A conflict of integrity can also be purely
of the spirit
as many (married) couples e.g. know. There can be a
conflict of integrity in the spirit
because of which one may suffer bodily pain. The pain
in the heart e.g. is notorious for love broken. Also
headaches are known often to be of a psychological
nature: some attachment,
conditioning or conflict in the motivation can lead to
incompatible drives which are displayed or perceived
in the brain as pain. Also identifications with
animals or other material forms that do not harmonize
with one's own body can be a cause of pain. Pain as
such is a psychosomatic phenomenon to which one must
be alert to prevent real damage to the body. Prolonged
and neglected pain can lead to physical dysfunction: a
headache can become a cancerous growth, a broken heart
can become a heartattack and a painful spot can
develop into a serious disease. When the doctor at
some point notices a chemical deficiency in the bodily
state, for instance not enough vitamins, he may
propose that the (cause of the) pain or a disease can
be overcome by taking those vitamins. This does not
exclude though the fact that from a dysfunctioning
spirit
a mentality of neglect may have risen that would be
the real cause of the ailment. As such medicine won't
help really to overcome the generally destructive
attitude of neglect. The fact that a doctor is not a
behavioral scientist and as such is not able to treat
behavioral disorder may not obscure the fact that in
many cases treating the problem of pain at the source:
the mind,
the spirit
and the soul,
can give a much more promising and enduring result
than just reasoning from material causes. It must be
said though that interdisciplinary cooperation would
give the best possible chance of health, which to the
selfresponsible individual not in need of help yet
means that to check, as a routine meditation,
one's integrity at all levels of functioning would be
the wisest, even before having
problems.
z) Maintain the body meticulously until
death.
Not
only the dictum that cleanliness is Godliness is true,
but also maintaining health and longevity is of the
divine. With the passion of managing sacrifices one
may become indifferent to health and longevity. In war
and love everything is permitted so that health and
longevity can be lost quickly. But finding order out
of the chaos of love and war also a strategy of peace
and unattached commitment is needed.
The
hero may die winning soul
but losing his body, but staying alive after the
crucifixion of sacrifice and opposition must also mean
to be liberated in service of the paternity of the
order of time
that accompanied the soul
from the beginning. This way religiously to the Lord
there can be any form and name, politically there can
be a life of order, truth and harmony, while
scientifically there can be an end to experimentation
and doubt without losing honor and identity.
Evidently
to maintain the body for longevity is a matter of
continence in discipline. The rule of moderation is
certainly essential to this, remembering that
abstinence can also lead to death by neglect or
madness by fanaticism and dogmatism. The rules,
principles, and values of the order are guidelines or
a capstand for the coat of ego
one is wearing. Filognostically
one must never forget that one is only a
profiteer
enjoying the benefit of the alternative and other
man's sacrifices. Remembering this the modesty and
gratefulness to tolerate all the trials and
tribulations of the daunting culture can be. Thus one
can survive and even appreciate this love of knowledge
as the salt of life. Being meticulous according to the
interest of the body means to realize what the
practice of filognosy
is all about: it is to talk and meditate for the sake
of the order of the soul
that is expressed by the body. It is not just to the
alternative of an aquarian or more scientifically
conceived counterculture that one realizes this. It is
to the complete of human culture that all this is
realized.
*:
Stardate
calendar
does not mean that this calendar runs to the stars.
The precession is with the
cakra-tempometer
respected by means of celebrating the socalled
birthday of the sun, that shifts form pisces to
aquarius by one day in the 70 years. The calendar is
called stardate because of the fact that it is derived
from the way de veda's (the socalled fifth veda)
respect the celestial sky with a division of the year
in 48 socalled paksah's or pancha dasa's (15-day)
periods. The year was to that defined bij the
north-south-movement of the sun (to the
seasons).
