Hugh, Tuza, and Aspir walked through the tunnel toward the mouth of the cave, and they sang with the cave and with one another, "Huuuuu."

They went past a pair of stalactites and stalagmites, and Aspir said, "I can imagine a world where creatures grow upward from the ground like that; they go up toward something that gives them life."

Hugh said, "Those would be flowers; and the life-giver from above is the sky."

"I had a dream," said Aspir, "and I saw something like a torch -- but it was alive, and it gave me warmth and happiness."

Hugh said, "In daylight, I feel warm and happy. Maybe you have been dreaming of the sky. It has beautiful sunlight, something you'll never forget."

Aspir said, "My dream seemed so real, it was more like a memory, of a day when I lived in a world of endless, endless light."

Now they could see the mouth of the cave.
